2. The Service
Maya helps you track food, nutrition, weight, and health metrics. Estimates produced by AI (including calorie and macro guesses) are approximate and intended for general tracking only.
3. Not Medical Advice
Maya is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, or fitness advice. Always consult a qualified professional before changing your diet, training, medication, or treatment plan, especially if you have any health condition.
4. Your Account & Data
You are responsible for the accuracy of profile and health information you enter. You may edit or delete your data from within the app at any time.
5. Acceptable Use
Do not use the app to upload unlawful content, attempt to reverse engineer the service, or interfere with other users. We may suspend access for misuse.
6. Third-Party Data
Nutrition data comes from sources such as USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts. Health integrations (Apple Health, Fitbit, etc.) are governed by their respective terms.
7. Subscriptions
Paid features, if any, renew automatically through your App Store account unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions in your App Store settings.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
